There's an established link between Vitamin D deficiency and compromised immune system response.

Unless you live in a hot sunny country or spend a lot of time outdoors in the winter, the chances are good you're somewhat deficient.

But this is easy to check, and easy to fix with supplements.



I believe D3 specifically is needed to fix that deficiency just as an FYI.


And supplementation is a far safer approach than suntanning (and certainly than sunbed use; that's almost never advisable).
